My story
In 2025, I started my stained glass journey to spend less time online and support my mental health. It was quite the bumpy journey in the beginning as I was learning on the fly.
I had been inspired by some beautiful stained glass mirrors I had seen online and I was determined to make my own. As I started to learn how to work with glass, the more I enjoyed it and the more open minded and creative I discovered myself to be.
Motivated by wanting to share my art with friends and family, I practiced making sun catchers of any shape I could imagine and fell in love with the joy of sharing the art!
I didn’t want to make pieces that just sit in a corner, I wanted to be able to carry my art on me, to have a conversation starter, something affordable, art that was easy to share with the people around me. Creating the stained glass heart pendant was perfect, a piece of art that didn’t have to sit in a gallery.
The necklaces have given me the opportunity to afford to experiment and expand my skill set… I look forward to the creations I’ll make in the future.
For me, making is a form of healing, a way to slow down, be present, and create something lasting out of light and colour.
Every piece is made by hand in my home studio in Brunswick. Each piece cut and soldered one at a time, and no two are ever quite the same.
